Back in 1986, Jerry Lawler was still the King of Memphis. He was popular enough to have his own show on local channel WMC named, appropriately, The Jerry Lawler Show. The show would bring interviews, wrestlers, and, presumably, WACKY WRESTLING SHENANIGANS into the homes of Tennesseeans every Sunday morning. On this, a very special episode of The Jerry Lawler Show, Lawler learned a thing or two about the wonder of ultra high-tech electronic keyboards from a fellow named Steve Cox. He then recorded what can be described as the audio version of thinking about baseball, taking a cold shower, or to put it more eloquently: the ultimate boner-killer.
Wrestling With Girls takes you deep into a world where ‘playing by the rules never enters our minds after midnight.’ After listening to Lawler find as may ways to use wrestling maneuvers as sexy euphemisms, I’m pretty sure the only rule we need (at any time of day) is ‘never let Jerry Lawler use wrestling moves as sexy euphemisms. Ever.’
