Kevin Owens May Be Injured Following A WWE Live Event In South Carolina

Forgive us if we’re jumping the gun on this, we’re just on the other side of WWE’s great injury plague of 2015 and being as pessimistically cautious as possible.

Per a note posted on Wrestling Incorporated, Kevin Owens may have suffered an injury during a match with Sami Zayn at Sunday’s WWE Live event in Columbia, South Carolina. Zayn hit a Blue Thunder Bomb to win the match, and after the pin was counted, referee Charles Robinson threw up the “X” symbol to get help from the back to help Owens out. WWE hasn’t commented.

Let’s hope the injury is small, or that maybe Owens just got the wind knocked out of him and needed help leaving the ring. The X is generally reserved for true injuries, but who knows? Maybe they just used it to explain why somebody actually lost to a Blue Thunder Bomb.

We’ll keep you updated on any further news, and will keep our fingers crossed that KO shows up on Raw like nothing happened.
