Kyle O’Reilly And Bobby Fish Have Both Been Pulled From Matches Due To Injury

WWE

After his victory at NXT TakeOver XXV, Adam Cole is finally the NXT Champion, but his faction, the Undisputed Era, is not faring nearly as well as their leader at the moment. Injuries have reportedly placed two Undisputed Era members on the bench, although we don’t know for how long.

Kyle O’Reilly injured his back in the Tag Team Championship Ladder Match at TakeOver XXV, as reported by 411Mania. As a result of ongoing problems from that injury, he has been officially pulled from EVOLVE 129, where he’d been scheduled to team with Roderick Strong against JD Drake and Anthony Henry. Beyond that, there hasn’t been much reporting on the seriousness of O’Reilly’s back injury, and whether or not it will affect upcoming NXT shows as well.

Meanwhile, Bobby Fish has also been pulled out of EVOLVE 129, as well as EVOLVE 130. According to Dave Meltzer at the Wrestling Observer, Fish’s jaw was injured in a televised NXT match that happened at the tapings last week. Dave reports that it came from a quebrada that Velveteen Dream hit during a trios match. Viewers thought it looked like Dream hit Fish’s nose, but it actually made contact with his jaw.

Hopefully both Kyle and Bobby will be healthy and back in the ring soon. NXT just isn’t the same when Adam Cole’s collection of talented jerks is less than complete.
