2K has released the official trailer for its new WWE 2K17 Paul Heyman career mode, and it’s just as wonderful and dramatic as you think. The master of the microphone will put you through your paces to determine whether or not your create-a-wrestler is good enough to stand shoulder to shoulder next to Heyman as you gaze in terrified awe at his client Brock Lesnar.
With this new storyline, you can walk around like someone face-swapped Alex Riley onto The Miz and then believed in him, slap a jagged metal Krusty-O on your singlet, and then act like a total b-hole to Mark Henry backstage. You’ll also get a crash course in how to track your t-shirt sales when you hit the Young Bucks stage of your journey:
Like previous career modes, you’ll be able to choose whether you want to do things the right way, or heel it up and tell Triple H that he’s not your real dad, and you’re skipping NXT and going straight to the main roster. You can also get dirty looks from Dolph Ziggler as you climb to the upper echelons of the card — just like real life, probably!
