On Monday’s episode of Raw, Stephanie McMahon brought “competition” to the Divas division in the form of three of NXT’s best women: Becky Lynch, Charlotte, NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. Charlotte had appeared once before back in December in a losing effort to Natlya, but we’re gonna consider this her formal, main-roster debut.
Charlotte’s legendary father, 16-time champion “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, was in attendance to watch it happen. WWE caught his emotional reaction via Vine, and as a heads up, this might make you want to hug your dad.

Longtime fans know it’s been a long road for the Flair family. Ric’s son David made appearances in WWE and a run in WCW, but was thrust into the spotlight long before he was ready. Flair’s youngest son Reid, a wrestling standout, tragically passed away from an accidental overdose in 2013 at only 24 years old. Charlotte, however, has seen nothing but success; since her NXT debut, she’s seemingly only gotten better and better, and now she’s wrecking Bella Twins on WWE’s flagship show while the crowd chants “this is awesome.” That’s something to get choked up about.
Ric being proud of his daughter will never get old. Whether you like it or you don’t like it, learn to love it, because it’s the best thing going.
