Roman Reigns and Sheamus spent more than 20 minutes going to town on one another on Sunday night at TLC. Even by the usual standards of TLC matches, this one seemed pretty brutal – Michael Cole even made it a point to mention that Sheamus looked like he was really beaten up throughout the match, noting that he had a few cuts and welts all over his body.
Well, as it turns out, Cole didn’t totally describe how badly Sheamus got the hell beaten out of him. Sure, the Celtic Warrior managed to hold onto the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but as we found out through his Twitter account, it came at the price of a whole lot of welts and cuts and my god LOOK AT HIS BACK. Here’s his back from another angle, which features a gnarly cut on his left arm.

Sheamus has always been one of WWE’s guys who can give and take a beating really well, and Reigns is pretty good at beating the hell out of people, so throw those two into a match with a bunch of household objects that could be used as weapons and we get something like this.
Oh, also: Triple H – who also got the hell beaten out of him by Reigns because Roman Reigns is the Juggernaut or something – had to get stretchered out of the building. Here’s the video:

Following Roman Reigns’ vicious attack on WWE COO Triple H at the WWE TLC pay-per-view, WWE.com has learned that The Game is being evaluated by WWE medical staff and will be observed overnight.
