Well, here’s a marriage made in heaven. WWE and Gene Simmons, who just might be the biggest “worker” outside the world of pro wrestling, are teaming up to create a new movie label.

The label, entitled Erebus Pictures (what, was Love Gun Films not PC enough?) will produce various sterling-quality horror movies. The first movie from Erebus Pictures will be Temple, about a team of operatives who are trapped in a abandoned military compound with a malfunctioning evil computer system. Hmmm, let’s do some typical terrible WWE casting: The special operatives can be Los Matadores and Torito, and the evil AI would have to be Eva Marie. I’d watch it.

Here’s what Simmons had to say about the glory of horror films…

“The horror genre continues to fascinate me as it proves to be endlessly thrilling and engaging for audiences.”

Here’s random WWE suit, Michael Luisi, talking about passion…

“Horror films fall into a genre that thrives on genuine passion, and I believe this partnership truly capitalizes on that sentiment and supports our vision.”

It’s nice to know that Simmons is helping Kane with his retirement plan. Keep those See No Evils comin’!
