WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results:
1. Intercontinental Championship Match: Roman Reigns defeated Shinsuke Nakamura (c) by disqualification when King Corbin interfered. Daniel bryan made the save for Reigns, but got his with a Kinshasa.
2. Shorty Gable defeated Curtis Axel by submission with an ankle lock. After the match, Gable announced that he’s shortening his name to “Shorty G.”
– Hulk Hogan appeared via Skype and announced he’d have a replacement for Seth Rollins as his team captain at Crown Jewel by the end of the night.
3. The New Day and Heavy Machinery defeated The Revival, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode. Xavier Woods pinned Scott Dawson after the Midnight Hour to win the match.

– Bayley was a guest on Miz TV, where she talked about how she didn’t owe anybody anything and has out-grown the need for the fans to like her. Nikki Cross promised to win the six-pack challenge and give Bayley a big hug.
4. Six-Pack Challenge: Nikki Cross defeated Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Lacey Evans, Carmella, and Dana Brooke. Cross pinned Rose after a spinning neckbreaker. Cross will now get a shot at Bayley and the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
5. Braun Strowman squashed Drew Gulak, who is back to doing his Powerpoint presentation gimmick randomly, with a powerslam.
6. Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan defeated Shinsuke Nakamura and King Corbin. Reigns was announced as the new captain of Team Hogan. Bryan pinned Nakamura after a running knee.
