It seems like just the other day that Brooke Hogan was on TMZ talking about how her father, Hulk Hogan, has already started talking to WWE about returning to the company at WrestleMania 33. That’s probably because it was just the other day. But it turns out that whoops! She made the whole thing up, because she sits on a throne of lies.
The Hulkster was the guest on Eric Bischoff’s Bischoff on Wrestling podcast on Wednesday and set the record straight. (Transcript via Cageside Seats.)
“Brooke’s running around on TMZ and made the statement about me and wrestling and WrestleMania. For the record, she needs the big boot to the head. I haven’t talked to anybody about WrestleMania. I just need to put that to rest. I asked Brooke, ‘What are you doing?’
“She goes, ‘Oh, well, I’m just starting it up.’
“I said, ‘Thanks Brooke.’ It was kind of funny. I said, ‘No harm. No foul.’ It was all in good fun.”
The best part of all this is that I can’t stop picturing Hulk barging into Brooke’s room with the TMZ video on his phone and barking, “What is this? Did you do this? Why would you tell tall ties and lie to people to make us seem more important? Who taught you that was okay?” And tearfully, she would finally break down and yell back, “YOU, alright? I learned it by watching you!”
