On Thursday night, the Yellow Brand held their latest batch of television tapings at Full Sail in Winter Park, Florida. Please be aware that everything you read in the subsequent paragraphs is an actual, massive, legitimate spoiler for what will happen over the next several weeks of NXT television. You may read on only at your own risk. But if you’re the sort of person who just simply cannot wait until next week to find out what happens next, congratulations! This post is for you!
Results from the 9/15/16 NXT tapings:
1. Noam Dar defeated Jack Gallagher. This was likely a dark match.
— Samoa Joe cut a promo in the ring, claiming Shinsuke Nakamura suffered significant injuries from his attack and will be out 6-12 weeks. Joe demands the title be vacated if he is unable to wrestle Nakamura in a rematch. William Regal says he hasn’t heard from Nakamura yet, but he will make a decision soon. Joe warns Regal to give him what he wants or the beatings will continue.
2. Austin Aries defeated Oney Lorcan. Aries won via submission with the Last Chancery. Aries runs down Itami on the mic after the match. Itami appears and Aries takes a powder.
3. Billie Kay defeated Aliyah.
4. Cedric Alexander defeated Andrade “Cien” Almas. Alexander won via pinfall after the Lumbar Check. Andrade seemingly reluctantly raised Alexander’s hand after the match.
— William Regal announced the second Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will indeed take place and the finals will be on NXT TakeOver: Toronto the night before the Survivor Series.
5. Tye Dillinger defeated Angelo Dawkins. Dillinger won via pinfall after the Tye Breaker.
— After the match, Bobby Roode came to the ring and said he’s been looking for the perfect partner for the Dusty Classic. He said that he and Dillinger together would be Perfectly Glorious. Dillinger accepted and shook Roode’s hand.
— The Revival were set to face the Ealy Brothers, but Samoa Joe came out, walked past the Revival, and destroyed the Ealy Brothers. The Revival just returned to the back. Joe said the beatings would continue until Regal gives him what he wants.
6. Ember Moon defeated Mandy Rose. Moon got the pin after hitting the Moon Shot.
7. The Authors of Pain defeated Mr. 450 and Ben Dejo Cruz. The Authors won with their finisher in a squash match.
— After the match, Paul Ellering finally spoke, and simply told the Full Sail crowd that pain is coming.
8. NXT Women’s Championship: Asuka (c) defeated Liv Morgan. Morgan tapped out to the Asuka lock in a short match. Afterward, Asuka said no one in NXT is ready for her.
9. Hideo Itami defeated Lince Dorado. Itami won after hitting Go 2 Sleep. Aries attacked Itami after the match, but Itami managed to run him off.

13. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Match: The Revival defeated Cedric Alexander and Andrade “Cien” Almas. The Revival pinned Cedric after a Shatter Machine.
— After the match, Almas turned on Cedric and beat him down.
14. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Match: Sanity defeated Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode. Sanity made their debut; they are a four-person stable. The tag team in this match was Sawyer Fulton and Alexander Wolfe. They were accompanied by a masked man and woman.
— After the match, Sanity attacked Dillinger. The woman revealed herself as Nikki Storm and the masked leader of the group is Eric Young.

16. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Match: TM-61 defeated Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss.
17. Wesley Blake NC Buddy Murphy. The match was ruled a no contest when Joe ran in mid-match and beat down both men.
— Joe grabbed the mic and told Regal that his time is up and that NXT is shut down until further notice until he gets Nakamura. Nakamura appeared at the top of the ramp in a neck brace, then removed the brace and had a massive pull-apart brawl with Joe where security got involved. Nakamura eventually managed to lay Joe out to end the tapings.
