The 2019 King of the Ring tournament rolls on with two must-see quarterfinal matches on this week’s Raw. Plus, Rey Mysterio returns to action after choosing to postpone his retirement. Also, Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman continue their strange saga, and Sasha Banks looks to continue her warpath on an all-new Raw, live at 8/7 C on USA Network. (via WWE.com)
Our five-point preview:
1. It’s Labor Day, so hug the independent contractor in your life and tell them you appreciate them, but not enough for benefits.
2. Tonight’s King of the Ring matches are Samoa Joe vs. Ricochet, and Cedric Alexander vs. King Baron Corbin. Don’t know why it’s still autocorrecting to Baron Corbin to that. Weird.
3. Sasha Banks is scheduled to lob Natalya into a wood chipper.
4. The “strange saga” of Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins continues, presumably with one of them costing the other the Tag Team Championship before Clash of Champions. Maybe tonight!
5. Rey Mysterio returns to Raw at the request of his son Dominick, so might also be WALTER.
