WWE Raw Results:

— The show opened with Kurt Angle explaining that Braun Strowman shattered his angle and required surgery, and that he may be out for up to six months. Angle asked who will now challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship, and he believes the opportunity should be earned. He said at Extreme Rules, and a No. 1 contender would be determined via a Fatal 5-Way Extreme Rules match. The five competitors will be Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Finn Bálor, Bray Wyatt, and Roman Reigns.

Angle went to leave the ring, but Reigns came out. He said he’s the No. 1 contender because this is his yard. He was then interrupted by Bálor, who once again said he never lost his title. Reigns said Bálor doesn’t have the killer instinct to beat Lesnar, and Bálor pointed out he beat Reigns on his first night on Raw. Samoa Joe then came out and staked his claim. Wyatt then appeared, and was interrupted by Rollins. Rollins said there will be plenty of time to talk, but the crowd didn’t come here for talk, they came for fighting. Joe and Rollins fought on the ramp, and then all five fought each other. Bálor took out Reigns and Rollins with a dive and was the last man standing.
