WWE Raw Results:

— The show opened with Bray Wyatt talking about how he is the only man in the Extreme Rules main event with a hope of beating Brock Lesnar. Roman Reigns interrupted and said he wants Wyatt out of his yard. Kurt Angle came out and made a match between the two men right now.

1. Roman Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt. Wyatt was in control when Samoa Joe came out. Joe put both Reigns in the Coquina Clutch, giving him the disqualification victory. Joe then put Rollins in the Clutch. Rollins made the save.

— Backstage, Reigns told Rollins he didn’t need his help. Angle arrived and made the main event for Raw Reigns and Rollins against Joe and Wyatt.

2. Akira Tozawa defeated Ariya Daivari. Tozawa won by pinfall after a top-rope senton.

3. Elias Samson defeated Dean Ambrose. This was a non-title match. Samson won by disqualification when The Miz showed up and specifically attacked Samson so Ambrose would lose the match. After the match, Ambrose tried to grab Miz, but Samson hit Ambrose with his finisher.

— Backstage, Big Cass and a referee found Enzo Amore laid out and unconscious. When he woke, he didn’t know who attacked him. Angle promised to get to the bottom of this.

— Finn Bálor made his entrance, then got on the microphone and addressed the crowd. He was promising to win at Extreme Rules and defeat Brock Lesnar when he was interrupted by Paul Heyman. Heyman said he hopes Finn wins, and on behalf of his client, wished him luck at Extreme Rules. He shook Finn’s hand and left.

4. Finn Bálor defeated Karl Anderson. Finn got the pinfall after hitting the Coup de Grace.

5. Sasha Banks defeated Alicia Fox. Banks hit the rope-hung double knees and pinned Fox. After the match, Banks slapped Noam Dar and then got laid out by Fox.

— Goldust delivered a promo via video, saying he’s back in the director’s chair and he’ll decide how his next film will end. He warned R-Truth, and said the Golden Age is back.

6. Kalisto defeated Apollo Crews. Crews got distracted by Titus O’Neil attempting to coach him, allowing Kalisto to hit the Salida Del Sol for the pin.

7. Matt Hardy defeated Sheamus. This was for the right to pick the stipulation for the Raw Tag Team Championship match at Extreme Rules. Matt hit the Twist of Fate to win by pinfall.

— After the match, Matt announced that they would defend the tag titles against Sheamus and Cesaro in a Steel Cage Match at Extreme Rules.

8. Austin Aries defeated Tony Nese. Neville watched from ringside. Aries won with the Last Chancery. Neville got in the ring after the match and locked in the Ring of Saturn on Nese. Aries applauded sarcastically from the ramp.

9. Alexa Bliss defeated Mickie James. This was a non-title match. Bliss got the pin after hitting James with a DDT. After the match, Bliss attacked James with a kendo stick until Bayley made the save.

10. Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt defeated Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Reigns accidentally ran into Rollins when Joe ducked a Superman Punch. As Reigns and Rollins argued, Wyatt pulled Reigns out of the ring and hit Sister Abigail on the outside, and Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch on Rollins to get his team the victory.

— When Kurt was watching the end of the main event backstage on a monitor, Finn Bálor requested a match against one of these other four next week. Angle said he’s not going to fight one man next week. It will be a triple threat between Bálor, Wyatt, and Joe, while Rollins and Reigns will go one-on-one.
