Our five-point preview:
1. WWE Champion AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose are right to be furious at each other following the Survivor Series (although perhaps Styles has a bit more of a legitimate beef there). Ambrose is guaranteed a shot at Styles’ title, but maybe Styles will take his frustrations out on poor, chinless James Ellsworth instead.
2. We’re going to get a new No. 1 contender to the Smackdown Tag Team Championships tonight. Could it be American Alpha, finally ready to ascend? No. No, it will be the Usos. Search your heart. You know it to be true.
3. Alexa Bliss still has a claim to a rematch for Becky Lynch’s Women’s Championship, but someone else might step up to knock her off her perch. So, Naomi, I guess.
4. Nikki Bella lost her spot on the Survivor Series women’s team to Natalya. Will the two wily veterans begin feuding with one another? Or will Carmella show up to make this a hate TRIANGLE?
5. Baron Corbin ruined Smackdown’s chance to steal the cruiserweight division away from Raw, but really that was just a way to reboot that aborted Kalisto/Corbin feud from a month ago. Get excited, people. That’s happening.
