The King of the Ring tournament’s first round wraps up tonight with what are sure to be two exciting battles, as Ali and Buddy Murphy go head to head, and Chad Gable faces his former tag team partner Shelton Benjamin. Our five-point preview:
1. Buddy Murphy vs. Ali and Chad Gable vs. Shelton Benjamin. Smackdown might kick Raw’s ass this week.
2. Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan, who got his first name back, are demanding an apology for Roman Reigns. Hopefully we’ll find out why last week’s Smackdown ended like it did, and that the person who wrote it was sacked.
3. “How will Charlotte Flair respond to Bayley’s defiance?” Might I recommend, “punching?”
4. The Revival looked like goobers on Raw, so hopefully they’ll get a little rehab work done on Smackdown. These guys are challenging for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship at the pay-per-view, after all. We just watched them lose a clean fall to a tired team that’d never teamed before.
5. Randy Orton has been hiding in a box all day, waiting to jump out and hit that RKO on Kofi Kingston.
