WWE owner Vince McMahon is 71 years old and still built like a tank. A leathery, walnut-colored tank. He may have trouble remembering who used to have what gimmick, but nothing is slowing the man down. Not even an injury so severe that the Higher Power needed to have surgery.
WWE.com reported on Monday that McMahon suffered an injury while training, but will not miss any time away from work as a result. The full statement from WWE.com:
WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon sustained an injury while training, requiring surgery, WWE.com has learned. The Chairman will be back in the office at WWE Headquarters on Wednesday, as usual.
Let’s all hope to be so lucky that none of us have to miss any work when we tear something at age 71 after going too hard on the lat machine or whatever. We shouldn’t be surprised by any of this, because Vince McMahon will outlive us all and dance on our graves. Then our ghosts will emerge from the ethereal plane to thank him for the honor.
After all, the man survived a very serious limousine explosion once.
He could fall out of a plane without a parachute and would walk away unscathed.
We will update if additional details become available.
