This must be what they’re talking about when someone says they’re printing money. This Conor McGregor/Nate Diaz matchup at UFC 196 is a welterweight bout, set on ten days notice, and it’s completely overshadowing a title fight. This is the alpha and omega of MMA in 2016. It will not be better than this, and it’s all coming to us in a tight, compact package. If you encapsulated this trash talk and sold it to lesser fighters, they would become TRT Dan Henderson within 24 hours.
Frankly, I’m not sure if Earth could survive a proper promotion of this fight. Ten days is all we need.
