It’s best to just give up now — you’ll never eat as well as Matt Stonie. He is, after all, the world record holder for the most Peeps eaten in a five-minute competition. Stonie topped his old record and scarfed down 255 Peeps to the amazement of the cheering crowd gathered at the World Peeps Eating Championship in Maryland.

255 Peeps eaten in a five-minute span works out to 51 Peeps eaten per minute, and .85 Peeps eaten per second. In a hypothetical world in which Stonie is even more of a superhuman eater, he would’ve eaten over 3,000 Peeps if he could keep up his pace for an hour. But we all know that’s impossible. Right? Right?!

This tops his previous world record of 200 Peeps eaten in a single sitting, which he set last year:
Notice how those are individual Peeps, when in the championship, he kept the Peeps connected from their packaging so he could grab a handful of 5 and use a twisting technique to mash them into his face. It seems like this was what ultimately got him the big win.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, Stonie won $1,750 for the ordeal and is currently ranked the number two pro eater in the world.
