WWE Raw Open Discussion Thread 2/2/15

Tonight on the With Spandex WWE Raw open discussion thread:

Last week was a controversial one for WWE in the wake of the 2015 Royal Rumble Match, with WWE Universe members in Philadelphia and around the globe on social media being brutally honest about the conclusion of the bout and its winner, Roman Reigns. Triple H has his own opinions about how the night ended, and is poised to address the situation Monday night on Raw. Speculation has been running rampant since the WWE COO teased his announcement on Thursday night’s live SmackDown. What does The Game have in store, and how will it affect the main event of WrestleMania 31? WWE.com has some theories.

Plus, don’t miss the FREE Raw Pre-Show at 7:30 ET on WWE.com, YouTube, the WWE App, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pheed and Pinterest. (via WWE.com)

Our five-point preview:

1. Catch the REPLAY of the Raw Pre-Show on Ello, Friendster, Xanga, Diaryland, AOL FanHouse, the Ate My Balls Megapage, Jennicam.com, an abacus, a barrel of apples and the back of a Lost Dog flier stuck to your apartment complex bulletin board!

2. Triple H says his announcement will “shake WWE to its core.” That seems pretty important, so we collected a panel of experts (read: not experts) to discuss the possibilities. Go read about our findings and share your own theories.

3. Some good news: Daniel Bryan has a new shirt, and it’s actually pretty great. I mean, Bryan’s been that kid from South Park who wears a t-shirt with his face on it for a while now, but at least the design’s improved.

4. Speaking of Bryan, he defeated Kane in a casket match last week to formally end their rivalry forever. Tonight, the rivalry begins again as Daniel Bryan takes on Kane!*

*that’s a joke, but tell me you’d be surprised

5. After the show, Triple H will appear on the Stone Cold Podcast to talk about his big announcement and a bunch of other stuff, hopefully including how lazy millennials are and how Cesaro is allergic to brass rings. Tonight’s Raw will basically be a 3-hour commercial for a podcast appearance, so make peace with that now.

As always, we’ll include 10 of our favorite comments from tonight’s open discussion thread in tomorrow’s Best and Worst of Raw column. Reply to your favorites with +1 to nominate them for consideration.

Enjoy the show, everybody.
