The Waiting Game: Details On When Brock Lesnar Will Return And His Schedule After That

At WrestleMania 31, Brock Lesnar was screwed out of the WWE Championship, which only served to motivate him. The next night on Raw, he was an angry beast, ready for war. That war never happened, as Stephanie “suspended” him. It was a tough pill to swallow. So, when exactly will everybody’s white chocolate golem be back?

According to the Wrestling Observer, it’ll be a bit of a wait. Brock won’t be wrestling again until SummerSlam, with he and Paul Heyman likely to return to TV a few weeks before the show. Brock could be brought back earlier if WWE feels interest, but it’s unlikely.

Now, how often will we be seeing Brock after SummerSlam? Well, word is that Brock’s new contract calls for four pay-per-view matches a year. In this case, a “year” means WrestleMania to WrestleMania. This is the first time we’ve heard that Brock has a specific number of PPVs he’ll work, which explains why WWE couldn’t get him to defend the title on more big shows last year. In addition to to the PPV matches, Brock’s new contract calls for a small increase in the number of TV dates he has to work.

So, given the limitation of Brock’s contract, how would you use his precious few appearances? There has to be a better approach than what they did last year, right?
