Legendary WWE Announcer Jim Ross Cut A Promo To Celebrate Trent Williams’ New Contract

WWE Legend and Oklahoma Sooners fan 4 lyfe Jim Ross celebrated Redskins’ left tackle Trent Williams new contract by showing him some love, WWE style.

Ladies and gentlemen, he’s 6-feet-6, he weighs a biscuit or two around 300 pounds. He may be number 71 in your program, but by God, he’s number 1 in my heart.

He’s the best left tackle in all of the National Football League. He doesn’t have to cheat to win. He just beats your ass. He’ll beat you up. He’ll make you like it. He’ll talk dirty to your mama and there’s nothing you can do about it. He’s my friend, the former Oklahoma Sooner, Trent Williams.

Be lucky you got him, because you don’t want him against you.

Williams, drafted fourth overall out of Oklahoma, just became the highest paid player in his position in the NFL after signing a new contract worth $66 million, with $32 million guaranteed. The former Sooner has previously been named to three consecutive Pro Bowl teams. I just ate corn from a can that cost $.78, so don’t worry, you’re not the only one reevaluating your life decisions after reading that.

Williams reportedly couldn’t keep a straight face after viewing Jim Ross’s reaction:

J.R., he’s a very intense guy, man. I’m used to those pep talks going back all the way to my freshman year at Oklahoma. He’s a great guy. He’s always been there telling me how good I can be and letting me know before every game that I can go out there and dominate.
