Roman Reigns Talked The New Day, Reforming The Shield And Why Dean Ambrose Is The ‘T*tty Master’

Bit by bit, Roman Reigns seems to be loosening up and figuring out how to weave more of his real personality into his wrestling character. His promos aren’t the stilted, nursery rhyme-laden disasters they used to be, and even his interviews with the press are starting to become worth reading. Case in point, Reigns recently sat down with Fox Sports, and his answers to their questions were far from the canned WWE talking points he used to recite during interviews.

First up, Roman Reigns is, like all good people, a fan of The New Day.

“Although I’ve beaten some of their asses in the past few weeks, I enjoy watching them. You can tell they’re having fun. That’s a huge thing. When you can see a talent having fun, you can invest more.”

Also, like all smart people, he doesn’t care about what you’re posting on Twitter. Even if you’re a co-worker.

“I don’t care to read about anybody’s Twitter. I don’t care what you’re eating for breakfast or where you just went. For me, it’s mainly just to connect with my supporters and the people who are showing a mad amount of love. For the most part, I don’t care what Dolph Ziggler is doing or that Seth Rollins worked out. I don’t wanna watch a video of Cena power cleaning.”

Of course, as with any Roman Reigns interview, he was asked about reforming The Shield.

“It’s tough because I enjoy what I’m doing now. I enjoy being a singles guy. I enjoy commanding the stage with myself and an opponent. It’s a different process when you’re teammates. Especially with the way we work. We’re very unselfish with how we work together in so many different regards. What made us so empowering is that we helped each other and we always looked out for each other and you didn’t see that in wrestling too often. Even in factions, it’s a very individual game, but The Shield, we were just iron-clad brothers in black. We made it more about the group than anything. I miss that. I miss that camaraderie.”

Finally, and most importantly, Roman told the story of how Dean Ambrose became the legendary “Titty Master.”

“It originated on our second European tour. It had Big E involved as well. Big E is a big guy. Uh, a big chest on that guy there. Ambrose was wrestling him a bit during that European tour, so, it just became he’s the titty master. Dean was the master of the ring with Big E, so, uh…”

Well, that wasn’t as sexy an answer as I was hoping for. Reigns also talked about winning the audience back after WrestleMania, his favorite Seinfeld episode and much more, so I suggest you check out the full Fox Sports interview, below.
