The Wyatt Family has been gathering strength in recent months, but after evidently ensnaring the very souls of The Undertaker and Kane, Bray Wyatt is more powerful than anyone could ever imagine. What do The Eater of Worlds’ new abilities — siphoned from The Brothers of Destruction — mean for Raw in Manchester, U.K.? Our five-point preview:
1. This is a UK show, which means it’s taped a few hours before it airs “live” on USA. That means it’ll have tons of Smackdown-style fake crowd noise and results you read on the Internet at like 4:30. Sorry. Try to enjoy it anyway!
2. This will also be the first Raw after Seth Rollins blew out his knee, meaning we’re calling a bunch of story audibles and setting up a Survivor Series tournament for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on a taped, canned-heat show. Jesus take the wheel.
3. One benefit of a pre-taped show is that if you want Bray Wyatt to throw a Hadoken at a dude, you just have him do the gesture and add it in post. Spoiler alert: Tonight, Bray Wyatt is throwing a Hadoken at a dude.
4. The Usos are back, and will look to add a fourth move to their repertoire. Currently, they know “jump,” “superkick” and “splash,” which frankly is just the end result of “jump.”
5. One of WWE.com’s preview points is, “Is Paige underestimating Charlotte?” I feel like that’s missing a lot of information, considering we’ve seen Paige turn on Charlotte, re-befriend her out of nowhere and then turn on her again. I think the real question is, “When did Charlotte become Sting’s daughter?”
