WWE Has Confirmed Another Match For WrestleMania 32

WWE has officially added another match to its upcoming WrestleMania 32 card, and it’s…surprising, but probably not for the right reasons.

After its introduction in 2014, both Cesaro and Big Show have won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania. WWE just announced that — despite basically everyone being injured — they’re going ahead with it again this year. Via WWE.com:

Which Superstar will stand tall in the Battle Royal honoring The Eighth Wonder of the World?

One of WrestleMania’s fastest-growing traditions will return on April 3 when a legion of Superstars collide in the 3rd Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Introduced in 2014, the over-the-top-rope Battle Royal honors the incomparable WWE Hall of Famer. Known as The Eighth Wonder of the World, the 7-foot-4, 520-pound Andre, who passed away in 1993, was considered the “King of the Battle Royal” in his heyday.

Though no Superstars have yet been confirmed for the 2016 edition, participants will no doubt reveal themselves as WrestleMania nears.

A battle royal is still the best way to make sure numerous Superstars get a spot at WrestleMania, but with performers injuring themselves left and right, you really have to wonder how they’re going to fill all of the spots the match requires. Who knows — maybe this is Mark Henry’s year, and it’ll just be him versus all four member of the Social Outcasts and the actual ghost of Andre the Giant.

Ghosts are scary, but my money’s still on Mark Henry.
