One week after the returning Triple H helped Kevin Owens capture the vacant WWE Universal Championship, The Prizefighter brings Team Red’s flagship title to Raw. What will Owens have to say about his controversial victory, and why did The Game betray Seth Rollins to ensure a win for the Canadian brawler? (via WWE.com)
Our five-point preview:
1. The Era of Owens begins. However you feel about how he won, the fact remains: Kevin frigging Owens is the frigging top champ of WWE frigging Raw. You know you’re tuning into this one and you know you’re going to be grinning like a goon about the whole stupid thing.
2. Triple H may be done lurking and may be around to explain his actions and complete the long-awaited Rollins face turn. Or we might repeat that thing where Orton did a slow burn on the Authority for like seven months. Both are equally good, right?
3. Cesaro was “injured” last week, but the Best of Seven series against Sheamus will press on, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
4. Whither Roman Reigns? After coming up short for the Universal Championship again, will he turn his villainous attentions back to the heroic newlyweds Rusev and Lana? They had their Bulgarian wedding ceremony this past week, so there’s another opportunity for cake-pushing.
5. Will Gallows and Anderson get Dana Brooke to cosplay another medical worker this week? Stay tuned!
