Madison Square Garden Sent A ‘Get Well Soon’ Message To Bret Hart

Earlier this week, legendary WWE Hall of Famer Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart announced that he’d begun a battle with prostate cancer.

There’s been a massive outpouring of support from the wrestling world, including some of his greatest in-ring rivals like Stone Cold Steve Austin. Even the buildings in which Bret had some of his greatest matches are wishing him well. Madison Square Garden posted the following:

From winning the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania X to his own MSG appreciation night on September 25, 2010, and countless more memories at The Garden, Bret “The Hitman” Hart had been a hero to many. He continues to be a hero and an inspiration to fans around the world with his public fight against cancer. The World’s Most Famous Arena along with the rest of the WWE universe stand by Bret in his latest battle. #GetWellHitman

The continuing support the world’s showing Bret in these tough times is really inspiring, and there aren’t many performers or personalities who deserve it more. Let’s continue to celebrate Bret’s life and career and talk about all our favorite moments, and by the time we’re done he’ll be healthy again. (We’ll probably still have more.)
