Jimmy Snuka’s Attorney Claims The WWE Hall Of Famer Only Has Six Months Left To Live

WWE Legend Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka is currently on trial for the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend, Nancy Argentino. Snuka had pleaded not guilty to the charges a year ago, but more recently the 73-year-old was deemed unfit to stand trial by a psychologist, who determined Snuka was suffering from dementia. The judge in the case has refused to dismiss the charges, although Snuka cannot stand trial until his condition improves.

The Morning Call reports that there was a new hearing on Friday, and that Snuka testified via FaceTime, as his attorney explained Snuka is currently in a hospice and is too ill to travel. Snuka’s attorney also said that Snuka only has six months to live, and that he suffers bouts of psychosis where he believes he is late for a wrestling match and attempts to leave the house.

Lehigh County Judge Kelly L. Banach will review Snuka’s medical records and the available information, and will rule on whether she believes his condition will improve or whether she will dismiss the case due to his condition. That ruling could come as early as next week.

Snuka is also currently involved in a class action lawsuit against WWE for failing to disclose proper information and safety protocol about brain injuries.
