Raw kicks off 2016 with a blockbuster main event, pitting WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns against Sheamus, with WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon serving as special guest referee. Will The Chairman’s personal vendetta against The Big Dog seal a victory for The Celtic Warrior? WWE.com has some theories. (Via WWE.com)
Our five-point preview:
1. Tonight there’s NO CHANCE IN HELL for Roman Reigns, as The Big Dog steps into the ring facing big odds! Please hire me as a writer at WWE.com.
2. John Cena still has a United States Championship to win back, unless they’re coming up with a reason to keep it off him so he can win the Royal Rumble and challenge for the WWE WHC at WrestleMania. Either way, expect him to Attitude Adjust all four members of the League of Nations at once, just because.
3. It’s Royal Rumble season, which means The Big Show will look super tough, and the announce team will wonder how ANYONE could hope to eliminate him from the Rumble. Reminder: Show has less of a chance of winning the Rumble than Stone Cold Steve Austin.
4. Bubba Ray and D-Von should adopt Sin Cara, make him wrestle in camo and call him “Bad Luck Dudley.”
5. Tyler Breeze and Summer Rae have broken up, which I hope is the beginning of a “Tyler Breeze dates Layla” story that ends badly for everyone.
