WWE Raw Open Discussion Thread 4/18/16

Tonight, on the European Vacation edition of the With Spandex WWE Raw open discussion thread:

With Raw emanating from London, WWE’s Prodigal Son has announced that he’s traveled across the pond to take charge of Raw for the third week in a row. Plus, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho have a lot of unfinished business, while Kevin Owens will no doubt seek vengeance against his former friend, Sami Zayn. Will these combustible rivalries ignite in London? (via WWE.com)

Our five-point preview:

1. Most Important Note: Tonight’s episode of Raw is from the UK, which means it’s either being taped as you read this, or was taped earlier today. There are spoilers everywhere already, so I guess what I’d ask is twofold: Please try not to share taping spoilers until those things actually happen on TV, and understand that you might see some spoilers in the comments anyway. I think that’s a strong one-two punch.

2. Shane McMahon is once again in control of Raw, because reasons! It’s fine. Shut up, it’s fine.

3. Tonight’s episode will feature the semi-finals matches in the number one contender tag-team tournament, which works out to be the Usos vs. the Vaudevillains and Enzo and Cass vs. The Dudley Boyz. Both of those should be fun. One of those should involve way too many superkicks.

4. King Barrett got kicked out of The Lads, meaning we get the great timing of the League of Nations in London without a British guy. Suggested plan of action: Pretend Rusev is the British guy for a night. You know he’d do it, and you know it’d be awesome.

5. We’re on the Road To Payback, so expect tons of surprises. Especially ones that are hard to avoid on the Internet!

As always, we’re including 10 of our favorite comments from tonight’s open discussion thread in tomorrow’s Best and Worst of Raw column. Reply to your favorites with a +1 to nominate them for consideration. Enjoy the show, everyone!
