After Luke Harper reemerged to help Bray Wyatt conquer Randy Orton at No Mercy, The Viper has entitled the assistance of a Demon with no love for The New Face of Fear. — via WWE.com
Our five-point preview:
1. Congratulations! You get more of the Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton feud … and Kane is still involved! Everyone wins! Especially you, the viewer. Tonight’s main event will be Wyatt and the returning Luke Harper facing Orton and Kane. At least Harper is back and he has a cool jacket. The jacket will save us all.
2. The long wait is finally over. Curt Hawkins will have his first match back tonight. Who will he face? Heath Slater is no longer a punching bag, so I’m guessing it’ll be one-half of Breezango, the tag team that everyone forgot. Will Hawkins be the victim of his own hubris, or will his first “match” be yet another literal swerve?
3. Dolph Ziggler’s career did NOT end at No Mercy. We’ll see what the new Intercontinental Champion has in store for his latest title reign. Will he institute an open challenge? Will he just set up his rematch against The Miz for the next pay-per-view? Will he wrestle someone other than Miz or Baron Corbin? Haha, probably not.
4. Naomi pinned the woman who was supposed to fight the women’s champion! We’ll likely see her stake a glowing claim to the No. 1 contendership tonight. Expect the word “glow” to be used like 30 times. Glow glow glow.
5. AJ Styles has defeated John Cena and Dean Ambrose on multiple occasions and may be looking for his next challenger. So start placing your bets now on whether it will be John Cena or Dean Ambrose.
