WWE Smackdown Live Results:

— The show opened with Bray Wyatt making his entrance, accompanied by Erick Rowan. He says Smackdown is his show now. Dean Ambrose interrupts. As Dean is about to get in the ring, Dolph Ziggler comes out. A brawl erupts and Ziggler accidentally hits Ambrose with a superkick.

— Backstage, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan interrupt Ziggler and Ambrose interrupting and put them in a tag team match against Wyatt and Rowan tonight.

1. American Alpha defeated Mikey O’Shea and Mike Vega. Chad Gable and Jason Jordan were set to take on local talent when The Ascension, The Vaudevillains and the Hype Bros all came to ringside to watch. American Alpha won in short order with Grand Amplitude.

— After the match, the other three teams surrounded the ring, then all four teams brawled, with Jordan and Gable being the last two standing.

2. Becky Lynch NC Eva Marie. The match was set to start, but Eva Marie had a wardrobe malfunction and the bout was unable to take place. Becky Lynch was livid after the match was waved off and challenged anyone in the back to come forward and fight her. Alexa Bliss answered the challenge.

3. Alexa Bliss defeated Becky Lynch. Lynch was about to win when Eva Marie’s introduction happened again, distracting Becky. Bliss hit the chokeslam and Twisted Bliss (formerly the Sparkle Splash) for the win.

4. Randy Orton defeated Alberto Del Rio. After a lengthy match, the fight spilled to the outside and Del Rio hit Orton on his surgically-repaired arm with a chair, drawing the disqualification. Del Rio tried to continue the attack and got hit with an RKO.

5. Rhyno defeated Heath Slater. A Smackdown contract was on the line for Slater. Slater argued with the referee and got hit by the Gore, giving Rhyno the pinfall victory.

— Backstage, Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon were prepared to offer Slater a contract anyway, but Heath showed up, chewed them out and stormed off before they could get a word in.

6. Carmella defeated Natalya. Nattie tried to jump Carmella during her entrance again, but Carmella was ready for her. Natalya got cocky and Carmella was able to lock in the Cone of Silence for the submission victory.

— Baron Corbin beat up Kalisto backstage for costing him a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.

7. Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose defeated Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan. It took a long time for Ambrose and Ziggler to get on the same page. Ziggler hit Rowan with a superkick for the win. After the match, Ambrose hit Ziggler with Dirty Deeds.
