Today you can see what Destiny has in store, you can play a multitude of sports games, or, if you’re me, you can ignore all that and play a weird survival horror game with an even weirder backstory. So, I’m streaming Knock Knock.
The premise is pretty simple: You’re stuck in a creepy decrepit cabin in the woods, and you’ve got “guests” visiting to try and bump you off. So, you run, you hide, you repair the cabin and aim to make it until the sun rises and, presumably, you can get the heck out of the cabin. Or not; this is a horror game, and those usually come with twists.
Supposedly, the game is inspired by an anonymous email the team at Ice-Pick Lodge filled with scribblings, bizarre audio files, and other various and sundry creepy things. Personally, I am somewhat skeptical of this, but hey, it makes a good story. Anyway, to see just how this game has made the jump from PC to PS4, check out the stream from 3:30pm EST to 5:30pm EST on Twitch, or below:
UPDATE: To be entirely honest, I don’t think I could have taken two hours of the game, hence I wrapped up the stream early. It’s not a bad idea, but a combination of repetitive gameplay and just the fact that once you get past the jump scares, you’re basically standing around waiting, kind of kills the whole thing.
