Well, Donald Trump has really done it. He’s angered political lightning rod Michael Moore to the point of utter embarrassment (which is, undoubtedly, how many people feel about Trump). At first glance, this news is not surprising. Trump’s views run so far to the right that they’ve fallen off the spectrum. Likewise, Moore embraces his independent stance, but he’s pretty darn liberal. These two seem like natural enemies, but not so fast.
Back in September, Moore amused a lot of people when he spoke at length with Entertainment Weekly about Trump. The filmmaker seemed oddly sympathetic and said Trump’s harsh immigration stance was somewhat softened by his Slovenian-born wife, Melania. Moore also conceded Trump’s political prowess and added, “I think people love batsh*t crazy.” This wasn’t exactly a diss and was almost a begrudging compliment.
The mood has now changed. Michael Moore is not happy about how the “least racist person” proposed banning Muslims from entering the U.S., and Moore has a message for Trump. He stood outside Trump Towers in NYC with a #WeAreAllMuslim sign.
Went to Trump Tower & held a sign til the cops came. Then wrote Trump a letter. Here it is: https://t.co/aszRoizZuZ pic.twitter.com/qMy3ZuHOhy

Moore also published an open letter to Trump on his website:
“I was raised to believe that we are all each other’s brother and sister, regardless of race, creed or color. That means if you want to ban Muslims, you are first going to have to ban me. And everyone else. We are all Muslim. Just as we are all Mexican, we are all Catholic and Jewish and white and black and every shade in between. We are all children of God (or nature or whatever you believe in), part of the human family, and nothing you say or do can change that fact one iota. If you don’t like living by these American rules, then you need to go to the time-out room in any one of your Towers, sit there, and think about what you’ve said.”
Moore is calling for a social-media movement, and the hashtag game is working. It looks like Grumpy Cat (and others) are following suit.
If I ought to choose between two angry fat white Americans, I'd be Team Michael all the way. #weareallmuslim
Donald, you're fired.

Be nice to others.. Not to make a point, or prove the haters wrong.. Just be good because it's the right thing to do. #Islam #WeAreAllMuslim

I hope #WeAreAllMuslim takes off. Best way to help @realDonaldTrump is to show how utterly delusional and self hating the Left has become.

Of course, this wouldn’t be a Twitter party if there weren’t detractors.
Michael Moore says #WeAreAllMuslim. Oddly, radical Muslims agree and are willing to kill those who disagree to prove it.
