BioShock Infinite — which looks pretty awesome — finally has the first new trailer in six months available below. This trailer, titled “The Beast of America”, comes after a long media blackout announced by Irrational Games creative director Ken Levine earlier this year. The reason for the blackout was to focus on finishing the game, which was supposed to be out this month but will instead release on February 26th, 2013. Missing out on those holiday sales is a major loss, as was Irrational Games’ losing of at least seven key employees out of 200 employees.
The new Bioshock Infinite trailer is set to “Beast” by Nico Vega (awesome choice) and shows only in-game footage of scenes requested by fans during a Facebook promotion. So you’re telling me those fans didn’t request more of the George Washington robot? Internet, it’s like I don’t even know you anymore.
