Before he was the Architect, before he was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, before he saved Mount Rushmore from killer sharks, Seth Rollins was, as the Simple Plan song goes, just a kid. (And he probably owned that Simple Plan CD too.)
Try as we might to all scrub our early adolescence out of existence (or at least off the internet), Rollins hasn’t been so lucky, as someone recently unearthed their middle school yearbook from a few decades ago and found a pre-pubescent Rollins, then known simply as Colby Lopez, staring back at them.
Look how adorable young Colby Lopez is! The American flag shirt with the sleeves cut off; the dog tags; it’s like he was a proto-John Cena. At this point in his life, Lopez was only a few short years away from turning himself into Tyler Black and going on to tear up the indies — hell, there’s even a photo of him getting ready to rumble in his high school yearbook:
