The cast list for Netflix’s upcoming series G.L.O.W. seems to be growing almost as fast as the buzz for Jenji Kohan’s take on the iconic pro wrestling television show. Marc Maron and Alison Brie led the initial cast announcements back in August, and now a laundry list of starlets — and one very fearsome pro wrestler — have been added to the bill.

Kia Stevens, better known as Awesome Kong, Amazing Kong, or just ‘that lady you don’t ever want to f-ck with’ marks the first actual female wrestler added to the show about, well, a female wrestling show. British musician Kate Nash tweeted her excitement about her upcoming role:

The show, set in the turbulent world of the campy, over-the-top world of a weekly episodic women’s wrestling television program, will follow Alison Brie as a struggling actress taking one last chance to get her big break. Aside from Stevens and Nash, Brie will be joined by Britt Baron, Jackie Tohn, Kimmy Gatewood, Rebekka Johnson, and Sunita Mani. Via Deadline:

Baron plays Justine, a teenage runaway. Tohn is Melrose, a Hollywood party girl. Gatewood and Johnson play Stacey and Dawn, best friends/hairdressers. Nash is Rhonda, a British print model. Mani will portray Arthie, a med student with Hollywood dreams, and Steven is Tammé, an 80’s TV actress who is always the guest star, never the star.

Though we would love to see a few more wrestlers thrown into the mix, the casting so far has us totally jazzed.
