Hurt feelings from racial hostilities have spilled over onto the walls of Trump property in Downtown DC. Look! pic.twitter.com/JLNQLBgVYx

Donald Trump recently spoke out against the Black Lives Matter movement, and his fancy new Washington DC hotel paid the price for his comments. Vandals tagged the hotel (which was notoriously the subject of a recent press conference-cum-promotional outing) with “No Justice No Peace” and “Black Lives Matter” messages, and a video appearing to show the act of vandalism was uploaded to the internet on Sunday.

The hotel has only been open for a few weeks, but the headlines it has made would be enough to fill an entire election cycle in a normal year. But of course, this isn’t a normal year. Employees of the hotel covered the messages with plywood so that the graffiti is covered until they have the chance to remove it, and Trump has yet to comment about the incident.
This probably won’t stop Trump from talking further about all the things wrong with the Black Lives Matter movement, as he has spoken out about it on Bill O’Reilly’s program as well as discussing police shootings and the ensuing protests at various campaign stops around the country. It’s probably a good bet that some simple graffiti on a hotel Trump won’t ever visit in person again won’t stop the presidential candidate from talking about BLM.
