WWE Superstars Share Their Favorite Wrestling Video Games From The Past 25 Years

Up Up Down Down YouTube

There’s an onslaught of WWE Raw 25th anniversary-themed content on all of our plates these days. There’s good stuff like this and there’s very bad stuff like this. WWE’s video game channel, UpUpDownDown, (run by The New Day’s Xavier Woods) is getting in on the action by asking superstars what their favorite wrestling game of the past 25 years is.

Watch Zach Ryder talk with his hands entirely too much (among other things) right here:

The video is a pleasant trip down memory lane when we had to cut the grass to earn enough money to rent the game we would play between Hot Pocket bites. Some personal highlights include:

  • Rick Steiner accusing Scott Steiner of cheating, but then having a hard time getting the words out because he’s Rick Steiner
  • Being reminded of how much potential the WrestleMania Arcade Game had (check out Razor Ramon and Doink’s offense in the clip!)
  • Seth Rollins revealed that Shawn Michaels is his favorite wrestler of all time, even though he said something different last time he was asked
  • Baron Corbin just having a good time. I wonder if he was asked to be in this video or if he saw them filming and was like “hey, can I be in this too?” and they were like “sure” but then he was very sincere and charming, qualities you wouldn’t expect from a Lone Wolf
  • Alexa Bliss and The Miz stay in character the whole time, and they deserve all of our merchandise dollars

I’m partial to WCW vs. NWO World Tour, because one time I changed Sting’s name to my best friend’s phone number and he ended up meeting someone he dated for a really long time. What’s your favorite WWE video game of all time? Holler back in the comments!
