Watch No Way Jose Turn WWE Raw Into Party Central In His Debut

After close to three years in NXT, No Way Jose finally made his main roster debut Monday night on the Raw after WrestleMania 34.

Directly after Ember Moon’s jump to Raw, a vignette played for No Way Jose. Immediately out of a commercial break, he made his first appearance on the red brand, leading a conga line down the entrance ramp and around the ring to his familiar music.

Raw’s newest star made his presence felt quickly, landing the windup knockout punch for the victory against a local wrestler, where his entrance may have lasted longer than his actual time in the ring.

No Way Jose’s last match on NXT television came against Velveteen Dream back in early February. He was absent from WrestleMania weekend aside from an Axxess loss to Travis Banks in a PROGRESS World Championship match.

After watching Elias break out in the last crop of former NXT wrestler to jump to the main roster, No Way Jose will be looking for much of the same.

His path to stardom may be more difficult, as similar gimmicks have struggled to find their footing on Raw or Smackdown, respectively. Adam Rose and the Rosebuds never quite translated, and it will be interesting to see if Jose can get his gimmick across.
