WWE Smackdown Live Results:
– The show opened with WWE announcing Becky Lynch will not be able to compete at Survivor Series due to injuries sustained on Monday Night Raw.
— AJ Styles hit the ring and cut a promo on his upcoming opponent at Survivor Series, Brock Lesnar. Paul Heyman arrived through the crowd and responded to Styles. Styles said he’ll either pin Lesnar’s shoulders to the mat or tap him out. Daniel Bryan came out and acknowledged he lost to Styles a few weeks ago. Bryan said if Styles mentioned his name again, he’d punch him in the face. Styles mentioned his name again and Bryan punched him in the face. Shane McMahon ran down and separated the two. The fight continued backstage and McMahon announced the WWE title would be on the line later in the evening and Bryan was pulled from Team Smackdown.
1. Jeff Hardy defeated Andrade Cien Almas via pinfall. Hardy landed the Swanton Bomb on Almas for the win.
— Paige announced The Miz is now the sole captain of Team Smackdown. He then added Hardy to the team and tried to kick Rey Mysterio off the team. Paige said if Miz can beat Mysterio, he can kick him off the team.
— Shinsuke Nakamura said Seth Rollins broke his heart by not thinking about him. Nakamura said he’ll break Rollins face at Survivor Series.
2. Rey Mysterio The Miz via pinfall. Mysterio got the victory over Miz with a crucifix pin after Miz got his knees up on a frog splash attempt and got the two count. After the match, Randy Orton hit the ring and tried to RKO Mysterio, who slipped out of the ring. Orton then hit the RKO on Miz.
— Becky Lynch picked Charlotte to replace her at Survivor Series against Ronda Rousey.
3. The Bar and Big Show defeated The New Day via pinfall. Big Show landed the KO punch on Kofi Kingston for the win.
4. WWE Championship: Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles (c). Bryan won the title with a Running Knee after a low blow.
