CIMA Announced His Tag Team Partners For AEW’s Double Or Nothing

With All Elite Wrestling‘s first show less than a month away, new information continues to be released about Double or Nothing. Cody’s mystery opponent was revealed, but some of the participants in another match remained TBA until today.

At AEW’s Ticket Announcement Party in February, a match was set between SCU (Christopher Daniels, Scorpio Sky, and Frankie Kazarian) vs. Cima and two other members of his #STRONGHEARTS group from OWE, his promotion based in China. Today, through the video below, Cima announced that El Lindaman and T-Hawk, two of the wrestlers who left Dragon Gate with him to form OWE, will tag with him on May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

In addition to being great wrestlers who anyone aware of would be excited to hear added to a show, El Lindaman and T-Hawk have also been part of Stronghearts’ previous inter-promotional angles first in Wrestle-1, then in DDT – although with Cima now signed with AEW, the dynamic is a little different here. If you haven’t seen them in action, you can check out Stronghearts (Cima, T-Hawk, El Lindaman, and Duan Yingman) vs. DDT babyface faction All Out (Konosuke Takeshita, Akito, Shunma Katsumata, and Yuki Iino) in the video below.

With AEW representatives, including SCU, currently visiting and working with OWE in Shangai, it looks like we could learn more about the relationship between the companies over the next few days. Meanwhile, if you want to learn more about and watch wrestling matches from OWE in itself, they have a lot of both behind-the-scenes and in-ring content on their YouTube channel, including full episodes of their weekly show.
