Joran van der Sloot, the man suspected of being the cause of Natalee Holloway’s disappearance in Aruba in 2005, has apparently confessed on hidden camera to Holloway’s murder. Van der Sloot still remains the prime suspect in the case, which remains unsolved after more than a decade of intense international speculation. Investigators literally dug up the island paradise where Holloway traveled for one last high school blowout before college, but her body was never found.
All the while, van der Sloot’s constant back and forth on the matter (plus his efforts to extort money from Holloway’s mother in exchange for bogus information) led most to believe that he’s probably responsible in some way. Now, van der Sloot may have confessed on camera for the first time. Keep in mind that this video was made for Radar and The National Enquirer. An undercover reporter for the two tabloids taped van der Sloot’s confession in a Peruvian prison, where he is serving a sentence for the murder of another woman. You can watch the video above. I always lied to the police, I never told the truth. I made up so many stories against the police. Also when I was younger, I never told everything. If this hidden video confession is, in fact real, then van der Sloot really did make his confession with a smile the whole time. What a guy. His wife, who he married a few years into his 28-year prison sentence for the murder of Stephany Flores, is apparently by van der Sloot’s side. What a strange new twist in this ongoing case, and who knows what will come of this confession.
