Ms. XCX and Lil Yachty rub elbows with the undead in the freshly released promo for the SOPHIE-produced cut “After the Afterparty.” The track hasn’t diminished in woozy pop thrills in the days since its release and now it comes with Pepto-splattered off-kilter visuals as a bonus. Director Diane Martel revisits the creepy visual style of her “We Can’t Stop” video for Miley Cyrus, but opts for a more minimalist take this go around. Well, as “minimalist” as a zombie with a can lodged into their skull can be.

This single’s arrival beckons exciting things for Charli XCX’s third studio album. The full-length, still without an official title, is currently due out in May 2017. “It’s going to be the most pop thing, and the most electronic thing I’ve done,” remarked the popular recording artist in a chat with i-D.
