The low-budget thriller “Enter Nowhere” has been picked up by Lionsgate and Grindstone Entertainment for North American distribution, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film is the directing debut of Jack Heller, who previously produced a number of Steve Austin direct-to-DVD vehicles.
“Nowhere” stars Sara Paxton (“Shark Night 3D”), Kathryn Waterston (“Good Dick”) and Scott Eastwood (“Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D”), a relative newcomer who is the son of actor/director Clint Eastwood. Shaun Sipos (“Life Unexpected”) appears in a supporting role.
The film, said to be in the vein of “Lost” and “The Twilight Zone”, centers on three individuals who arrive one-by-one at a mysterious cabin in the woods – only to discover they’ve been brought together for a reason.
“Enter Nowhere” is set to premiere next month at Screamfest in Los Angeles.
