During Night of Champions, WWE aired a commercial for the hilariously named “Brock Lesnar Go To Hell Tour,” featuring three Lesnar-centric announcements for October. The first, which we found out about a few weeks ago, is Brock facing The Big Show at the Madison Square Garden show on October 3rd. The second was the announcement that Lesnar will appear on a live Stone Cold Podcast on October 19. The third? The main event of Hell in a Cell on October 25.
In one of the biggest matches WWE can announce, Brock Lesnar will get another match against The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell.
Brock Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s legendary undefeated streak at WrestleMania 30, leading to a refocused Undertaker returning at Battleground to seek revenge. Their SummerSlam main event ended in controversy, so this will no doubt be the match to settle the score. It’ll also be a rematch from way back at No Mercy 2002, when then-WWE Champion Lesnar defeated Taker in what I still consider to be one of the best Cell matches ever.
We can only assume that this means we’ll get more Undertaker on Raw during the build-up, and that his appearances will involve the teleportation and grumpy crotch-kicking we’ve come to love from the 2015 version of The Deadman.
