Joey Janela and Kenny Omega created a lot of buzz and took a lot of crazy bumps during their unsanctioned match that aired as part of last week’s episode of AEW Dark. That buzz, according to All Elite Wrestling, is the reason that when Janela makes his Dynamite debut tonight, it will be in a rematch against Omega rather than the previously scheduled Janela vs. Jack Evans match.

Instead of wrestling on Dynamite proper, Evans will now be part of a triple threat on the fourth episode of AEW Dark. The company revealed that the next episode of their Tuesday night YouTube show will include Evans vs. Darby Allin vs. Jimmy Havoc and a tag team match of Dustin Rhodes and Sonny Kiss vs. Peter Avalon and QT Marshall.
Even before this match change, the upcoming episode of Dynamite was already pretty stacked. Here’s the card as it stands now:
- Joey Janela vs. Kenny Omega II
- AEW World Tag Team Title Tournament Semi-Final match: Lucha Bros vs. Private Party
- AEW World Tag Team Title Tournament Semi-Final match: SCU vs. The Dark Order
- Best Friends vs. Young Bucks
- Pac vs. Jon Moxley
- Britt Baker vs. Jamie Hayter (UK wrestler who’s also worked in Stardom, making her AEW debut), as announced on last night’s AEW Dark
- Cody will talk about his upcoming title match with Chris Jericho
Something else to watch for on this episode of Dynamite is if AEW mentions that Kenny Omega is now the AAA Mega Champion after defeating Fénix at Héroes Inmortales on October 19 – though the companies are partners and AEW has held AAA tag title matches, this match wasn’t promoted on AEW TV.
