WWE Is Reportedly Interested In Two Former TNA Knockouts For The Upcoming Women’s Tournament

Last month, WWE officially announced the creation of a WWE Network-exclusive women’s tournament to feature 32 female competitors from 17 countries. Just last week, we got word that the tourney will tape at Full Sail University later this summer, likely in July. But as for who will actually be in the tournament, that has yet to be finalized.

However, according to Squared Circle Sirens (via PWInsider Elite), WWE has shown interest in bringing in not one but two former TNA Knockouts to help fill out the brackets. First off, we have Mia Yim, who competed for TNA under the ring name Jade, and is a former Knockouts champion. Yim has been wrestling since 2009, also working for CZW, Shine and more. You might also remember her from the one time she showed up at the NXT Arena in 2014 to square off against Charlotte:

Yim left TNA this past March, two months after fellow Knockout Marti Bell departed the company. Bell is also being looked at by WWE for the women’s tournament. She has also been wrestling since 2009, not just for TNA but also for Shimmer, Evolve and others. Yim and Bell frequently tagged together in TNA as the Dollhouse, before eventually splitting and feuding with one another. You can see the two in action below:
