Brock Lesnar’s actions last week led to a formal review by WWE management, but The Beast and Paul Heyman aren’t waiting for the sword to fall, announcing they will cash in the Money in the Bank contract against Universal Champion Seth Rollins this coming week. Our five-point preview:
1. They’re doing a weird authority angle where the McMahons are mad at Brock Lesnar for “disrespecting the Money in the Bank contract,” and it’s so illogical and forced that even members of the Raw announce team are shitting on it on social media. That’s probably a good sign, right?
2. So, does Lesnar announce he’s fighting Rollins in Saudi Arabia, or do they do a cash-in here for ratings and switch the title back in Saudi Arabia?
3. Will Matt Riddle show up to ruin the cash-in as promised? Better idea, can we smash the rainbow bridge between NXT and the critical afterlife?
4. An injured Rey Mysterio will give up the United States Championship, hopefully to his Tall Adult Son.
5. By God, it’s the Undertaker! He’s come back to dig holes and cash checks from the Saudi royal family!
