WWE Raw Results:

1. Roman Reigns defeated Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler interrupted Reigns to open the show and hit him with a surprise superkick. Reigns was able to fight back and win a competitive match with a spear.

– Becky Lynch cut a backstage promo about Sasha Banks needing her to reignite her career, and how she’ll give Banks a reason to “run home and cry.”

– Jerry Lawler was supposed to interview Sasha Banks on The King’s Court, but was attacked and Mandible Clawed by The Fiend.

2. Ricochet and The Miz defeated Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin. Miz pulled Ricochet out of the way of a charging Corbin, and Ricochet was able to hit the “Recoil” (his one-knee Codebreaker) on Corbin to win.

3. United States Championship Match: Braun Strowman defeated AJ Styles (c) by disqualification when The O.C. interfered. Seth Rollins made the save for Strowman, setting up Strowman and Rollins vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson for later in the night.

4. King of the Ring Match: Samoa Joe defeated Cesaro. Joe won a hard-hitting match by submission after countering a springboard European uppercut into the Coquina Clutch. Joe moves on to round two to face the winner of next week’s Drew McIntyre vs. Ricochet match.

– Elias tried to give a “farewell performance,” as he couldn’t risk being out in the ring every week as 24/7 Champion. He was plagued by production issues and an out-of-tune guitar, so he ordered a production member to get into the ring and fix things. That was, of course, R-Truth in disguise. Truth tried to pin Elias several times and hit him with a guitar, but Elias was able to escape.

– Rey Mysterio gave a heartfelt backstage interview about how injuries have caught up to him, and that it’s time for him to hang up the mask. He was interrupted and stopped by his son Dominick, who convinced him not to retire so he could one day be his partner. He promised to make his father proud.

5. New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) defeated The Revival by disqualification when Randy Orton hit Big E with an RKO. Kofi Kingston made the save, but was hit with an RKO as well. Orton made Kingston watch while The Revival injured Woods’ leg. Orton and The Revival then posed on the ropes.

6. Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defeated Fire and Desire. Cross pinned Sonya Deville after a swinging neckbreaker.

7. King of the Ring Match: Cedric Alexander defeated Sami Zayn. Alexander won with a Lumbar Check. Alexander moves on to round two to face the winner of next week’s Baron Corbin vs. The Miz match.

– Sasha Banks attacked Natalya again backstage, telling her to go to Hell and tell her dad she said hi.

8. Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman defeated The O.C. (c). AJ Styles interfered throughout the match. Strowman hit a powerslam on Karl Anderson, and Rollins hit a Stomp on Styles to keep him from breaking up the pin. Strowman and Rollins are now Raw Tag Team Champions.
