When the blue brand descends on The Home of the Blues, Memphis’ own WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler welcomes fellow Hall of Famer Trish Stratus to “The King’s Court,” tonight at 8/7 C on Smackdown Live. (via WWE.com)
Our five-point preview:
1. Puppies! Woo hoo!
2. Trish Stratus’ guest appearance is presumably there to set up a match with Charlotte Flair for SummerSlam, unless Alexa Bliss and Mickie James randomly show up to take that spot again.
3. Finn Bálor is out to teach Dolph Ziggler some respect! Hopefully Ziggler summons Brock Lesnar again to help him out.
4. New Day faces the team of Elias and Drew McIntyre, which oh my God I hope isn’t happening to set up a Kofi Kingston vs. Shane McMahon WWE Championship match.
5. Be sure you’ve read the Best and Worst of Smackville before tonight’s show, which I assume is called Smackphis.
